![]() Step 2 Locate the uninstaller with the following path: Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud/Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud. Locate the Adobe Creative Cloud in the Menu Bar, right click the app and choose the Quit option. Step 1 Quit the Creative Cloud app manager on Mac. Make sure you have serial number with you. Then you can follow the method to uninstall Adobe on Mac as below. if you had installed Adobe apps using serial number, it will ask you to enter serial number to activate all installed Adobe apps again. You may trash all the contents of SLCache folder or rename SLCache folder to SLCache-old. ġ) Right click on Finder icon and select "Go-To Folder" option.Ģ) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.ģ)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe>SLCache. ![]() When you get the pop up window with a message to Renew subscription, in the same pop up, look for the option " Have a different ID" and then Sign in with different Adobe ID. Hence in order to avoid this, try deleting old / previously created license files or Sign in with different Adobe. ![]() Why this happens? because as you know CS 6 is also included as part of CC subscription, there will be conflict with activation process due to confusion. What exact happening is as the Email ID is linked to Creative Cloud subscription, the license files will be created for same, unless those are removed from comp, during activation process it detects the activation again as CC subscription. Or You may Sign in with different Adobe ID while activating CS 6 using serial number. First is to delete old license files under SLCache, so that fresh new files will be created during activation of CS 6.
